She grew up showing cattle all over the USA and was the Idaho State Beef Ambassador, Idaho Angus Queen and Western States Angus Queen in high school. Her motto in life is to work hard and be nice to people. Rachel has been on the country radio airwaves in Salt Lake City, Utah and several stations in Idaho since 2006. Shannon Steele

Afternoon Drive 2 pm – 6 pm EST Shannon Steele, grew up in a small mountain town in North Carolina, at the age of 12 years old he began working in radio by going to a local AM station and practicing his craft as an “on air” radio guy, by the age of 14 he was helping DJ school dances and by 18 he packed his bags and moved to Myrtle Beach SC where he began his dream of being a radio announcer. After many years on the radio in the Grand Strand area, he was offered a position doing afternoons and program director for a Country Station in Columbus, Ohio, so off he went. He has worked in every format you could imagine, from Top 40 to Rock to Country, on great stations like Mix 97.7, Gator 107.9, Wave 104, 92.3 WCOL, and more. But every time he always comes back to his roots of Good old country Music. Fun fact: in the early 2000s, Shannon was trained/coached one-on-one by his mentor and radio idol, the late great Casey Kasem, in Los Angeles, California. Shannon is also a husband, a father of 3 amazing young adults, a drummer at his church on the worship team, and runs a large real estate organization with agents in over 30 states nationwide.
